Basic Theory of USB and FireWire
USB (Universal Serial Bus)
In information technology, Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a serial bus standard to interface devices to a host computer. USB was designed to allow many peripherals to be connected using a single standardized interface socket and to improve the plug-and-play capabilities by allowing hot swapping, that is, by allowing devices to be connected and disconnected without rebooting the computer or turning off the device. Other convenient features include providing power to low-consumption devices without the need for an external power supply and allowing many devices to be used without requiring manufacturer specific, individual device drivers to be installed.
USB is intended to replace many legacy varieties of serial and parallel ports. USB can connect computer peripherals such as mouse, keyboards , PDA, game pads And joysticks, scanners, digital cameras, printers, personal media players, and flash drives.
USB haves the character universal of which can communicate between systems different operation. Since beginning of USB production ,there is 3 kinds of type USB, that is USB 1x, USB 2x and USB OTG. and in newest version of USB is USB 3.0

FIRE WIRE
The IEEE 1394 interface is a serial bus interface standard for high-speed communications and isochronous real-time data transfer, frequently used in a personal computer (and digital audio and digital video). The interface is also known by the brand names of FireWire (Apple Inc.), I.LINK (Sony), and Lynx (Texas Instruments). Though not as widely used, the 1394 standard also defines a backplane interface.
FireWire many applied at peripheral requiring high data transfer rate like, camcorder, DVD player, and digital audio. Later, Fire Wire movement of signal televises High Definition capable to (HD) uncompressed from a distance quickly with lower cost compared to HDMI, prediction can replace standard that is now common in using HD connectivity
Initial version of port FireWire, FireWire 400 can support transfer of data to 400 Mbps. FireWire 800 folding duplicates this data transfer rate to 800 Mbps. Newest version submitted by Apple is FireWire S3200 having speed of 32 Gbps

Problems Analysis of USB and FireWire

FireWire is an interface usual port applied by the professional in video audio area. Because this Port can give Performa manifestly until 97 percentage of what which its.

Though speed and transmission owned by better FireWire, do not mean FireWire is more pre-eminently from USB. There are something becoming weakness FireWire. For example just number of peripherals is earning in circuit with FireWire is not counted using USB. FireWire only enable 63 peripherals that is in circuit
Conclusion from Comparison of USB and FireWire
- From the angle of Performa and the data transfer rate, Fire wire is more pre-eminently is compared to USB because the compatibility is very exceeding with versions before all. As well as speed of data transfer of Fire wire is not affected by system and software becoming the host
- From the angle of popular, USB is more famously and many met in motherboard and laptop, because USB doesn't ask royalty from every equipment having interface USB
